Steps for the Orbi Netgear Orbi Login- 

You can access your Orbi router or the whole Orbi mesh network at one time with the help of the Orbi app. So, please download the Orbi app first when you need to install it on your device. After that, follow these steps to log in.

·         Launch the app and log in to it using your Netgear account. 

·         Once you log in, tap on the device's icon you want to sign in, and you are good to go. 

Alternatively, you can use an updated internet web browser to log in to your account. Here are the steps that you can follow- 

 

·         Plugin the extender into a wall jack and then press the power button to turn it on. 

·         Then, wait for the power LED to turn on solid green or white. 

·         Now, open the Wi-Fi manager on your device and look for the Orbi router’s SSID. ( To sign in for the very first time, use the default login detail. You can find the default login details on the router label.) 

·         Once you find the SSID, please select it and enter the password. 

·         The next step is to open an updated web browser on your device. 

·         Now type www.orbilogin.com in the browser's search bar and hit the enter button.

·         The Orbi login page appears here. Now, enter your Netgear admin username and password in the respective input fields. 

·         Lastly, click on the Sign-in button to access your user interface. 

 

In case you haven't yet installed the Orbi wifi system, then please first install the device. To do so, you can follow these instructions to install your router with the help of the Orbi app. 

Installing the Orbi Wifi System ( Router and satellite)- 

·         Run the app on your device and login into it using your Netgear account. 

·         Now, tap on the Enable Camera and Scan button, scan the QR code on the back panel of your router. 

·         Then, select your product and the number of Orbi Satellites in your whole mesh system. 

·         Now, connect the Orbi router to the main modem. To do so, use an ethernet cable( CAT5 cable) to connect your router to the modem.

·         Plugin the Orbi router into a power socket and then press the power button. 

·         Then, wait for the Power LED to turn on solid white or green—also, plugin all the Orbi satellites. 

·         Return to the Orbi app and tap on the Continue button. A progress bar starts to display on the Orbi app. 

·         Now, connect your device to the Orbi router’s network. Next, go to the Wi-Fi settings of your device.  

·         Find the Orbi router's network, connect your device to the Orbi router's network, and hit the Continue button. You can find the SSID and password on the Orbi router label. Check for the router label on one of the side panels of your router. 

·         Click on the Continue button. The personalize your setting page is displayed here. 

·         Then tap on the Next button to land on the Create Wi-Fi network page. 

·         Choose your Orbi Wi-Fi network name and enter the password, then tap on Next. Now, you land on the Admin Login page. 

·         Choose your Orbi router's admin password and then tap Next. ( Use these credentials to access the router settings). 

·         Tap on the Next button to land on the set up security questions page. 

·         Select and answer at least two security questions and click the Next button.  

·         Click the Continue button. Here, the router checks for the firmware update. 

·         If the update is available, download the updates and install the firmware on your Ori router. 

Updating the Orbi router's firmware manually- 

You need to check for the Orbi router firmware from time to time after its installation. Although all the Orbi routers download the firmware by default, sometimes you need to download the updates manually. To do so, follow these steps- 

·         Firstly, don't forget to connect your device to the Orbi router's network.

·         Run the Orbi app on your device. Then, log in to it using your Netgear username and password. 

·         On the dashboard, go to the Menu icon and click on the Settings option. 

·         Click on the Router Settings and then scroll down. Finally, tap on Check for Updates option. 

·         Afterward, just follow the on-screen instruction to update the firmware of your Orbi device. 

Reset the Orbi router- 

In case you forgot the login details, resetting can always help. Factory reset brings the router to its default settings. So, you have to reconfigure the router once you reset it. Follow the instructions as follows to reset the Orbi router. 

·         Locate the Reset button on your router. It is always labeled as the RESET. 

·         Press the button for 20 to 30 seconds and then release it. To do so, you can use a sim injector or any similar object like this. 

·         The router restarts itself. Once it starts again, you can start reconfiguration of your router.
